Iran's nuclear nonproliferation agreement with the U.S. could make it easier for U.S. technology companies to recruit engineers from Iran, a country of 80 million people that boasts top-notch educational institutions. Big Silicon Valley companies are already looking at Iran's technical talent.
"It's going to open up a whole new market," says Adam Ward, who heads recruiting at the San Francisco social-scrapbooking site Pinterest Inc.
Two-thirds of Iran's population is under 30 years old. Many young workers are well-educated, technologically savvy, and eager to seek their fortunes in the tech industry.
