27 Tech Execs Among Glassdoor's Top 100 CEOs

Glassdoor has released its annual Employee Choice Awards for top 100 CEOs in 2019. In total, 27 CEOs from the tech industry made this year's list.
Tim Cook of Apple moved higher on the list from No. 96 to No. 69, and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook fell from the No. 16 spot in 2018 to No. 55 this year. Microsoft's Satya Nadella and Google's Sundar Pichai also landed on the list, at No. 6 and No. 46, respectively. Pat Gelsinger, CEO of VMware (No. 78 in 2018) ousted Eric Yuan, Zoom Video Communications CEO from the No. 1 spot.
Glassdoor's list honors 100 CEOs across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, and Germany, according to a release. To qualify for the list, current CEOs must receive at least 100 CEO approval ratings and 100 senior management ratings between May 2, 2018, and May 1, 2019.
