College Will Host Summer Career Academy on Zoom

Grossmont College, El Cajon, Calif., will host a free virtual summer career academy next month for students, parents, and guardians.
The academy will include interactive activities, industry panels, campus resources information, employer information sessions, and breakout sessions. The two-day event is set for July 14-15 and will be held via Zoom, the online communications platform.
Experts will be available online to present and discuss career options and services with new and current students.
Careers and education topics that will be part of the academy include Computer Science and Information Systems; Drone Technology; International Business; Management; Programmable Logic Controller; and other subjects.
