Myles Johnson's internship with IBM began Feb. 1, just hours after Rutgers' Scarlet Knights flew back from a win at Northwestern. (Johnson had seven points and six rebounds.)
The Scarlet Knights' 6-foot-11, 255-pound center is serving an engineering internship this semester with IBM Z Firmware, a computer engineering arm of the technology giant, working 20-to-30 hours per week remotely and not doing menial tasks either.
Though he's off on travel days and game days, Johnson brings his IBM-issued laptop on the road. He's got it during the Scarlet Knights' extended stay in Indianapolis as they prepare for Friday's NCAA Tournament opener against Clemson.
