Innovators and startup companies involved with national security-related applications and products are invited to apply for a two-year entrepreneurial fellowship at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The fellowship will provide funding and an opportunity to immerse the fellows' organizations in the laboratory's technology and talent.
Once dubbed the "Secret City," Los Alamos was born in 1943 as part of the then-secret Manhattan Project.
The fellowship program includes a two-year relocation to northern New Mexico and offers a yearly stipend of up to $100,000, plus health insurance and a travel allowance. Each project also receives $100,000 per year in technology-advancement support in collaboration with the laboratory and its network of mentors, customers, and investors.
Apply at NM LEEP, the New Mexico Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program. The deadline is May 21, 2021.
