Using a dataset of intern salaries, Glassdoor has identified companies offering the highest-paying internships in the United States. Technology firms account for 68 percent, or 17 of the 25 companies on the list.
The types of internships varied. While 60 percent of job titles at tech firms were software engineering or development-related, other tech and non-tech opportunities were available. These included data science and engineering, financial analysis, UX, and machine learning, and non-technical roles like product management, marketing, and D&I specialists.
Gaming company Roblox offered the highest paying internships, with median monthly pay for interns reaching nearly $10,000. Uber and Capital One followed, both paying interns a median monthly salary of $8,333. These were followed by Salesforce ($8,167), Amazon ($8,000), Meta ($8,000), Nvidia ($8,000), LinkedIn ($7,500), HubSpot ($7,500), and Expedia Group ($7,500).
