Where Are Tech Pros Focusing Their Training?

Where are tech pros focusing their training energies? According to Dice's latest sentiment analysis of the tech industry, 18.6% are devoting their training time and resources to artificial intelligence, 18.2% are focused on the cloud, and 15.1% on cybersecurity. These align with where tech professionals expect to see future growth.
In addition, 12.1% are focused on big data, 8.1% on the Internet of Things, and 5.1% on robotics.
Notwithstanding economic fears and expectations of layoffs, the vast majority of tech professional respondents (82 percent) believe the tech profession will grow over the next five years; moreover, only seven percent of respondents said they have or are considering changing to a non-tech profession or non-tech industry.
