In 1983, for Christmas I got a BBC Micro as a present... Here I am 28 years later still developing s/w. Acorn then, was like the Apple of today.. I was proud to have a BBC Micro, it was like the Rolls Royce of 'home computers'

Regarding this sentence:

'performing the same amount of work as other 32-bit processors while consuming one-tenth the amount of electricity'

1. Can we have a reference for that please?
2. What is 'amount of electricity'? was it supposed to be 'amount of power'?
