Several students from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology have invented a computer mouse that people can control with their feet. The device is called the "Talang."

The "Talang" mouse looks like a large slipper with a blue waves design. According to the students that invented it, wearing the "slipper," people can click the left mouse button by pressing the slipper with their forefoot, click the right button by pressing the slipper with their heel and browse websites by moving their foot.

Li Yunlong, the head of the invention team at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, said that through constant research, amendment and discussion, the five members in the team determined the design of the "Talang" mouse in early April 2010. Then, they began to design circuits, make printed-circuit boards, and debug programs.
