Researchers at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of Alabama have revealed a new single-stage method for recharging the hydrogen storage compound ammonia borane. The breakthrough makes hydrogen a more attractive fuel for vehicles and other transportation modes.

Nice technology but not workable. Recycling 'tanks' to be factory refilled adds the energy cost of the transportation to and from the 'factory' to the equation. Nobody is going to stop, 'swap tanks' and keep going.
And, using hydrazine as an intermediary in the process is just plain nasty.
