High school and college students as well as professionals have until April 29 to register for the Cyber Quests competition, an online contest that could result in an invitation to a week-long Cyber Camp this summer.

Participants will compete against their peers in analyzing an artifact and answering a series of questions, which test their knowledge of information security. The contestants who obtain the highest score in the shortest amount of time will be the winners.

The competition opens April 16 and closes April 30. Winners 18 and older will be eligible for an invite to Cyber Camp, which will offer specialized sessions by college faculty, SANS Institute senior instructors, and cybersecurity experts, and which also will feature a live competition and awards ceremony the final day. The camps will give participants an opportunity to improve their skills and marketability, and engage with major technology companies and government agencies at onsite career fairs for scholarship, internship, and employment opportunities.

The competition is administered by Cyber Aces and the U.S. Cyber Challenge, and its goal is to help grow the U.S. cybersecurity workforce.
