Baggage Claim: Airlines Are Winning the War on Lost Luggage

Baggage passes through a scanner on conveyor belts at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Luggage tags at McCarran are read accurately 99.96% of the time, the airport says, compared with an industry average of about 90%.
