Researchers at cybersecurity firm Recorded Future report that eight of the top 10 flaws most commonly exploited last year were associated with Microsoft software.
Patches have been issued for all of the vulnerabilities on the list, but users and enterprises that do not apply the updates are leaving the door open for cyber attackers.
"The problem is that there are tens of thousands of people looking to exploit Microsoft products, simply because it's such a large target," said Kathleen Kuczma of Recorded Future.
