Chinese Spyware Code Was Copied From America's NSA: Researchers
Tel Aviv-based Check Point Software Technologies issued a report noting that some features in a piece of China-linked malware were so similar they could only have been stolen from some of the National Security Agency break-in tools leaked to the Internet

Researchers at Check Point Software Technologies discovered that code first developed by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) has been used to support Chinese hacking operations.
The researchers determined that features of the China-linked malware "Jian" likely were stolen from some NSA break-in tools leaked online in 2017.
However, Check Point researchers believe Jian was created in 2014, two years before a group called the Shadow Brokers published some of the NSA's code on the Internet.
Sources say the malware was found on the network of an unidentified third party by Lockheed Martin Corp., which identified the vulnerability exploited by Jian in 2017, but how it was used remains uncertain.
