At a Summer Camp, Juice Boxes and Bitcoin Mining
The Crypto Kids Camp is part of a trend toward young adults and even children becoming immersed in cryptocurrency through online trading exchanges, school clubs, social media, and other outlets.

The Crypto Kids Camp hosted five days of activities in Los Angeles to familiarize 26 children ages five to 17 with money and cryptocurrency.
Most participants were non-white by design, and founder Najah Roberts said the program's goal is to bridge the racial wealth gap and give children a sense of how money works.
Roberts, who was a bitcoin investor and entrepreneur, said the camp intends to expose minority children early to subjects like the history and intricacies of currency trading, which they are less likely to learn from family, friends, or school.
Attendees spend a week learning about a different emerging technology each day, including blockchain, money evolution, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, virtual reality, bitcoin mining, machine learning, online gaming, drones, and engineering.
