World's Largest Mechanical Robot Suit

Canadian artist and engineer Jonathan Tippett sits inside Prosthesis, the mechanical robot suit he created

Canadian artist and engineer Jonathan Tippett has built the world's largest four-legged exoskeleton, as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Called Prosthesis, the robot stands more than 3 m tall, weighs 4,000 kg, and has 200 hp.

Prosthesis is "a cross between an excavator, a dune buggy, and a dinosaur,” according to Tippett, who added, “…within a few minutes you're standing and you can move the machine and you can balance and you can tilt."
