Video Gamers Feel Bees, Bullets with Simulation Tech at CES 2023

The 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023) showcased videogaming products that reproduce physical sensations like bullet hits and rain.
Kiuk Gwak of South Korean game technology developer bHaptics demonstrated a haptic vest and gloves that replicate the sensation of virtual action and tactility, respectively.
U.S.-Singaporean gaming hardware company Razer unveiled Project Carol, billed as the first-ever surround-sound audio and haptics head cushion, which enables "gamers to feel everything behind them, placing them firmly in the middle of the action."
Semiconductor manufacturers AMD and Nvidia highlighted their latest processors for powering gaming computers. AMD's Scott Herkelman said such graphics upgrades are needed to support "games with increasingly lifelike visuals."
