Amazon to Let Baseball Fans Buy Beer by Scanning Palm
Verified users will be able to purchase alcohol without showing an ID.

Amazon plans to launch "frictionless" alcohol purchases at Coors Field in Denver, CO, home of the Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team, through its Amazon One touchless payment device.
Users who have uploaded their ID and a selfie and had their age verified by a third party will be able to buy alcohol by scanning their palm.
Contactless payment options arose during the pandemic and continue to find use thanks to their speed and convenience. Amazon said a wider rollout of its device will occur "in the coming months."
