Chipotle Introduces Guacamole Prep Robot Autocado

Chipotle has partnered with the automation solutions firm Vebu to debut Autocado, an avocado processing robot that will reduce guacamole prep time by 50%.
The prototype, which will be deployed at one of its restaurants later this year, cuts, cores, and peels avocados.
With Autocado, employees will only have to handle hand-smashing the avocado to finish the guacamole.
This follows Chipotle's rollout of Chippy, a tortilla chip-making robot, last year.
