Caltech, Broadcom Partner on Quantum R&D

Broadcom's investment will support joint programming and research to accelerate discovery.

The partnership will establish the Broadcom Quantum Laboratory at Caltech to bring together experts in the fields of quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum measurement, and quantum engineering.

A multi-year partnership between the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Broadcom aims  to advance quantum science research and development.

The Broadcom Quantum Laboratory at Caltech will provide a physical collaboratino space to experts in quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum measurement, and quantum engineering to bolster joint programming and research, with the goal of speeding discovery of innovative quantum technologies and applications.

As part of the research and development initiative, Broadcom and Caltech also will host an annual symposium over five years, bringing together their researchers to study areas of mutual interest and relevant development opportunities.
