The Sensorpedia network collects and publishes sensor data from around the world.

Sensorpedia, a network of more than 5,000 sensors that monitor weather conditions, seismic activity, traffic, water levels and much more, is a significant resource that continues to expand.
Developed three years ago by Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Bryan Gorman and David Resseguie, Sensorpedia connects first responders, individuals and communities with online sensor data in the United States and beyond. It uses Web 2.0 social networking principles to organize and provide access to online sensor network data and related data sets. "Sensorpedia combines the best of Facebook and YouTube and continues to expand and evolve to meet the demands and needs of users," Resseguie says.
Sensorpedia is in beta testing at http://www.sensorpedia.com. Funding for Sensorpedia is provided by the Southeast Region Research Initiative, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
