How Html5 Will Change the Web
The implementation of HTML5 will remake the Internet and enable basic Web sites to do much more, from tracking a user's location to storing more data in the cloud. HTML5 tags will take the place of plug-ins for simple jobs, open up advanced capabilities to a larger audience, and could make the Web more secure, efficient, and adaptable.
Web graphics will become more interactive using HTML5 because instead of downloading image files, users will be able to build an image on the fly in a Canvas object. HTML5 also will enable applications to tap local file storage, load their JavaScript code from the offline application cache, and start immediately whether or not the Web connection is working.
In addition, HTML5 allows JavaScript to ask the browser for the latitude and longitude coordinates of the user, which works well with handheld smartphones. HTML5's video tag makes it easier for Web developers to add video to the information on the rest of the page, and it offers a standard way for widgets to talk with each other, allowing them to send messages back and forth and coordinate their work. HTML5 also could improve security by removing the dangers that current plug-ins present.
