After social networking, blogging, micro blogging comes a new phenomenon called voice blogging. It is a voice blogging service offered for mobile users. Indiatimes has launched such a service, called Hibuddy, which will allow users to create their own profiles and add friends to their network, send voice posts and participate in discussions which can be heard by other consumers.

This will be like any other social media platform where you can connect with people having similar interests and voice your opinion. Some of the added benefits are that you can  sing or speak about stuff that you won't be able to do on Facebook. There are channels on cooking, PJs, gossip, technology, etc. where you can listen to other people and give in your inputs too. Users have to subscribe to this service.

The Internet penetration in India is only about 2 percent, while the mobile penetration is much higher. Social networking has grown exponentially in India and this novel concept is just going to further the growth. There are the strong pillars on which this concept is based and it is touted to be the next big thing in India.
