Contrary to popular belief, people aren't taking jobs away — technology is. The 2016 U.S. presidential election rubbed raw the divisions between those with the skills for the future and those without. As we look ahead to the Trump presidency, instead of scapegoating, we need significant investments in a sustainable education strategy that prepares youths to effectively participate in the world of tomorrow.

We're not adequately educating our young people to be prepared for the new tech economy that requires a foundational understanding of computer science.
