Commentary reacting to the Wall Street Journal's "Facebook Papers" series was quick to demand punishment and constraints on Facebook. What's largely absent from the discussion, however, is any consideration of what is arguably the most natural response to the leaks: Should kids be using these services at all?
We should not be so quick to give up questioning the necessity of these technologies in our lives, especially when they impact the well-being of our children.
