Fears about AI Are Overblown

Ultimately, fears about artificial intelligence (AI) are overblown. In its current form, ChatGPT is more akin to a souped-up search engine than anything else. The program is not infallible. It is sometimes incorrect as to matters of fact, and given a few tries, those who are intent on stumping the program will be able to achieve their goal.

However, AI will make life more efficient going forward, much in the same way that search engines have made life easier for the past two decades.
