Guido van Rossum, the creator of Python, tells of growing up, discovering computers in the Netherlands, creating one of the world's most popular programming languages, and landing at Dropbox in San Francisco.

"I had a lot of doubts about myself, but Python's ever-increasing success, and encouragement from people to whom I looked up . . . made me forget that," van Rossum says.
