Balajee Sowrirajan, corporate vice president at Samsung Semiconductor India R&D, has been overseeing the company's Memory, System LSI, and Foundry business units in India for more than six years, helping pave the way for Samsung's role as a technology leader in the semiconductor industry in India, and making SSIR the largest Global R&D Center for Samsung Semiconductor. In an interview, Sowrirajan describes his start as a software engineer, the company's focus on product milestones and incremental innovation, and what it looks for in new hires.
