Donald Knuth: The Father of Algorithm Analysis

Regarded as the father of algorithm analysis, Donald Knuth wrote his first computer program, a number factoring program in decimal machine language, in 1957. He is a Turing Award winner, the author of The Art of Computer Programming, and created TeX.

In an interview, Knuth covers a variety topics, including programming beauty and literacy, algorithms, pulling all-nighters, open source, favorite symbols, and even the meaning of life.
