Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger became intrigued with artificial intelligence (AI) after being persuaded by Eric Schmidt, then the executive chairman of Google, to attend a 2016 lecture on the topic. Now, they have teamed up with Daniel Huttenlocher, dean of the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, to write The Age of AI, a new book about the implications of the rapid rise and deployment of AI.
