Francis Enyi is a senior program analyst with the Information and Communication Technology Department at Delta State University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. In an interview with Ubiquity's senior editor Bushra Anjum, Enyi discusses how his team of computer software developers, medical personnel, and linguists are working toward bridging the deficit of healthcare personnel in remote and rural areas in Africa.

They also discuss the team's interactive voice response (IVR) software, which provides quality non-surgical medical care information to the populace via a GSM phone network.
